Since long back, Legal Academic Writing (hereinafter LAW) has offered engaging discourse as a sui generis domain to generate fundamental resource to existing subject knowledge. In the West, legal writing is divided into two counts. Legal Professional Writing (LPW) concentrates upon those instrumental to law practice: within the courtroom or otherwise. Legal Academic Writing (LAW) grapples with those instrumental to generate literature in juridical science rather than typical law practice; thereby supplements legal literature no less critical to progressive development of the law ahead. While LPW may get taught in course of the law practice, LAW has hardly had routes to get developed by the learner. Consequently, blunt compromise with the quality of legal literature is in commonplace to the discredit of legal academics. Thus, in the absence of tradition to prepare learners contribute to legal literature, both the bench and the bar suffer from vacuum, if not void, out of want of great jurists in the profession. Except rare illustrations, e.g. H. M. Seervai, D. D. Basu, and the like, compared to the American counterpart, professional academics is yet to grow elsewhere.
