At Acko, we are giving Opportunity to work with only Insurance start-up in the country. As a legal Intern of the only insurance start-up in the country, you not only get to work on corporate commercial matters but also get to learn the nuances of the digital operations and model in insurance, IRDAI, FEMA & other insurance-related laws, and regulations, work on complex M&A, capital-raising and other transactional matters. It will provide a holistic opportunity to grow as a counsel & business lawyer with exposure to regulatory, corporate, litigation, IP, M&A, and other transactional matters.
Excellent knowledge of corporate and commercial laws, drafting, reviewing and negotiating various contracts/agreements;
Strong oral and written communication skills, drafting skills and well-versed with-it tools.
Drafting & vetting of various commercial contracts such as Vendor Agreements, SAAS Agreement, MOUs, Letter of intent, NDAs, Term Sheets, Marketing Agreements, Shareholders Agreement, Share Subscription Agreement, etc;
Negotiating contracts with counterparties and provide business support in closing agreements/legal documents;
Drafting and maintaining various agreement templates;
Manage the entire life cycle of contracts;
Systematically record and maintain all legal records;
Legal support to business teams on day to day legal queries;
Co-ordination with external counsels on company-related matters.
Internship Tenor – 60 days (maybe extended)
Candidates will be remunerated with a stipend.
