A talented Corporate Lawyer to support School’s legal function for drafting agreements for grants, contracts, services, partnerships, projects etc. The principal goal will be to support all the internal stake holders with timely responses meeting their requirements for legal support. Compliance with state laws and regulations, while actively helping stake holders and prevention of possible legal risks, litigation and violations.
The successful candidate should have outstanding negotiation and communication skills, with sharp attention to detail.
Draft the appropriate legal documents as required by the stake holders.
Manage and update the depository of legal documents.
Represent the company in legal proceedings.
Design and oversee the company’s policy and position on legal matters.
Protect the company against legal risks and violations.
Examine the legal issues related to services, copy rights, Intellectual property etc.
Guide management on regulatory and compliance issues to ensure compliance with legal regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Law.
Licensed to practice law from the State Bar Association.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a corporate lawyer.
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Highly analytical with a strong attention to detail.
Outstanding managerial and negotiation skills.
