CaaStle, a shared economy experience driven by access to apparel that complements traditional ownership is looking to hire a General Counsel for their Delhi Office.
As General Counsel, your job will be to lead the implementation of the global legal strategy across all lines of our current and evolving business. You will create and advise on best practices, play an integral role in facilitating growth and mitigating risk, and align business strategy from a legal perspective.
Architect and manage CaaStle s legal and compliance strategy, policies, and standard operating procedures across a wide spectrum of product, operational and financial initiatives;
Serve as a strategic thought partner and legal advisor on business strategy, commercial transactions and operations;
Draft, review and negotiate large variety of commercial agreements covering all of our activities, including licensing, intellectual property services, partner, and vendor agreements;
Assist in the management of corporate and compliance matters, including governance issues, shareholding and fundraising;
Lead and implement best in class Data Privacy program, including CCPA and GDPR compliance;
Oversee and manage all organizational compliance obligations, including policies and documents as it relates to company obligations, employee safety and consumer protection;
Manage multiple matters effectively in a fast-paced environment to ensure the accurate completion and timely execution of business initiatives;
Advise business clients on legal issues and risks, company policies, and business strategy;
Anticipate and identify issues and risks, recommending potential solutions;
Stay abreast of trends in the industry and areas of law relating to Software-as-a-Service, e-commerce, mobile technology, digital advertising, and data / privacy;
Advise on HR and employment related issues, global data policies and manage litigation matters;
Manage and protect the companys patent and trademark portfolio;
Manage and develop the Legal team and provide coaching and mentoring to team members across the company;
As a member of the company s Executive Team, participates in companywide decisions and accountable for fostering an inclusive culture based on CaaStle s values.
