Job Description

Candidate with 4-5 years of experience in Legal and Compliances (manufacturing industry) having experience in the areas of following will be preferred:

  • Contract Lifecycle Management- Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, executing and timely renewal of all commercial agreements, managing the contract database and updating the same in a timely manner;
  • Litigation Management- Coordinating with external counsels for on-going litigations, Appear in courts on behalf of the Company, Prepare and manage documents related to litigations, Managing the litigation database and updating the status of the cases and hearings;
  • Intellectual Property Management- Advise on intellectual property matters; Handling Registration of Trademarks, Timely renewals and initiate actions against infringements, Updating about the ongoing registrations of intellectual property in the intellectual property database;
  • Monitoring Labor and Factory Compliances- Maintaining and updating the Compliances Checklist, Collate supportings/data from various departments for compliance and verify the same, Escalate about issues/non-compliance, if any, as per the matrix;
  • Assist in Implementation of Compliance Management Software, co-ordinate with external agencies for demo, co-ordinate with stakeholders for compliances related matters, assist in import of existing data to the compliance software and handhold junior staff to enter new data in the software and monitor the software on regular basis so that quarterly reporting can be done to the Board ;
  • Draft appropriate policies, guidelines, terms and conditions, and templates for the organization;
  • Advise on legal issues related to HR, Labor, Intellectual Property, Factory Compliances, Risk factors etc. ;
  • Correspondence with statutory bodies, local authorities related to any matter which requires legal expertise;
  • Other Administrative duties as may be assigned by the Departmental Head from time to time
