POSH at Work is an organization that believes that sexual harassment at workplace does not only cause mental and/or physical damage to the person harassed but also seriously curtails opportunities at work by creating a discriminatory work environment. We believe that, in order to ensure equal participation and equal opportunity at work, it is extremely important to do away with discriminatory behaviour and re-instil the faith of employees/workers in the organization. The only way this can be done is with effective and efficient compliance with the law against sexual harassment i.e. the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 and other related laws.

Following would be the Duties and Responsibilities –

  • Assisting in drafting policies for companies in accordance with law
  • Assisting in legal opinions
  • Researching and summarizing the latest case laws
  • Tracking and researching on the recent updates on law
  • Keeping track of incidents being reported in media and preparing legal reports on those
  • Assisting in vetting contracts
  • Writing articles on challenges under the law
  • Preparing power point presentations, notes, summaries on the Law and other related laws
  • Attending at least one meeting with core team member(s) every week for updates on work done
  • Attending at least one meeting every 15 days with all partners to update them on the recent developments under Law
  • Assisting in preparing database and survey statistics to understand level of sexual harassment in different industries in India
  • Assisting in preparing industry wise reports
  • Assisting in identifying queries that are being asked in online spaces and responding to the same
  • Any other ancillary work that may come from time to time (due diligence from a legal stand point at a client site, meetings with complainants or clients to explain certain provisions, responding to legal queries on the website, assisting in marketing during annual workshops etc.)
  • Attending meetings with organizations (if required)
  • Assist in organizing annual workshops of POSH at Work (and assisting in ancillary services required with respect to the same)
  • Any other work as may come up from time to time at the Firm
  • Be well versed with English & Hindi
  • Be well versed with Microsoft Office 19.
  • Be willing to travel.

Educational qualifications

  • Bachelors’ in law (BA LLB, BSW LLB, )
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)


  • 2-3 Years of Work Experience in the Field of POSH Law, legal research and trainings.
  • Should have good knowledge on POSH law
  • Comfortable with working with a dynamic group
  • Comfortable in working against tough deadlines
  • Comfortable working from home and doing intra-city and inter-city travel
