The potential impact of your work is large, given that you will:

  • drive process-oriented delivery model and day-to-day management of the Contracting CoE
  • provide subject matter expertise and guidance to the team to drive performance and continuously aim to improve it
  • ensure that work product is delivered within agreed service level targets in terms of quality and efficiency and take concrete steps to seek to exceed these
  • hire, motivate, supervise, and coach the team
  • oversee performance and continuous learning and development of the team
  • drive feedback from stakeholders promptly and create service-minded atmosphere in the team
  • report KPIs to track team and individual performance
  • drive expansion of the Contracting CoE by leading discussions and clearly communicating service offerings to potential customers/stakeholders in Novo Nordisk
  • provide best-in-class offshore services to Global Legal and Novo Nordisk Line of Business worldwide aligned with the Global Legal Strategy, incl. through external benchmarking leveraging best practices
  • collaborate with Global Legal Operations to drive operational excellence, incl. through optimising contract management services to the global business and free up Global Legal specialist time
  • collaborate with other managers in Novo Nordisk for sparring and leveraging best practices
  • represent the Contracting CoE in various forums

Qualifications

  • Relevant master’s or bachelor’s degree in law
  • 5+ years of people and stakeholder management experience
  • Experience of managing the entire contract lifecycle and related systems, processes and services within contract management
  • Strong experience driving operational excellence
  • Used to work in close cooperation with senior management and external partners/advisors
  • Experience from an international company operating globally (across many jurisdictions and with different functions and cultures)
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken
  • Strong communicator at all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to motivate, instruct and coach employees
  • Ability to prioritise projects and tasks, ensuring high quality and timely deliverables
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Business ethics integrity
