Responsibilities

The Legal KM Associate’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Helping to manage a robust Voice of the Customer program that will support the holistic identification of KM opportunities and inform the development of a robust KM Solutions Roadmap for Global Legal
  • Providing organizational and user support for the deployment and adoption of KM capabilities –including creating and delivering relevant training content, assessing and addressing user-identified issue, etc.— to drive stronger adoption of KM tools and practices
  • Monitoring and overseeing required KM content curation and enrichment activities, whether carried out by end-users through the KM toolsets, by internal or external resources, or by the KM team itself
  • Supporting the implementation of a successful KM culture across the organization, including by helping to communicate the KM Solutions Roadmap and sustaining efforts to promote the benefits from the adoption of prioritized KM tools and processes
  • In collaboration with the Legal Operations & Technology team, ensuring the effective deployment of relevant KM systems and other critical capabilities, including by carrying out required discovery and use case developments efforts, facilitating detailed user requirements gathering, and supporting toolset configuration efforts to guarantee fitness-for-purpose in all KM solution deployments
  • Designing and preparing Business Intelligence reports for KM operations and solutions adoption, as needed to inform KM Steering Committee processes or provide requisite insights to Legal management

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of overall business experience in a complex cross-functional organization, with strong experience with knowledge and content management –ideally relating to to legal subject matter
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Exceptionally strong interpersonal and communication skills; strong technology skills, preferably including experience with legal enterprise software, tools and applications
  • Proven ability to act independently, work quickly and with careful attention to detail, juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a varied, fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to execute effectively within a large, global organization –preferably a financial firm
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills; sound judgment and demonstrated leadership skills. Product management and/or UX discovery experience preferred
