Candidate should have experience ideally working or having worked in Product Companies which license out their proprietary products, negotiating terms for software licensing and related services. Candidate should be familiar with different product deployment methodologies (i.e., Saas, Paas, Iaas)
Candidate should have experience with negotiating complex alliance, partnering, subcontracting, systems integration, and manage service provider arrangements.
Candidate should be familiar with emerging technologies, e.g., data analytics, internet of things, artificial intelligence, crowd sourcing, etc.
Candidate should have experience with negotiating alliance, partnering, subcontracting, systems integration, and manage service provider arrangements.
Candidate should be familiar with corporate procurement and should have knowledge of in-bound and outbound procurement frameworks.
Candidate should have exceptional business acumen and a personality that necessitates unwavering transparency and communications to senior management.
Providing legal advice and support on a variety of commercial transactions, including strategic sourcing and RFPs.
Design, implementation and maintenance of policies and processes to identify and mitigate commercial transaction risks and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and company requirements.
Draft, review, and negotiate contractual language and standardize terms for use across vendors. Develop and maintain library of such standard agreements and terms.
Assist in the establishment, implementation, and communication of formal policies, processes and procedures to govern supplier contracts throughout their life-cycle
Assist with the implementation and application of supplier risk management policies and governance, including but not limited to appraisal, assessment, on-boarding, risk and performance monitoring, policy compliance, and communication
10years+ Post qualification experience from a reputed Law College.
Transactional legal experience with advanced technology procurement functions, hopefully in the outsourcing space. Knowledge of laws regarding staffing, technology delivery operations, and other non-technology related areas a plus.
Strong ability to organize and multi-task by prioritizing and tracking a large number of projects and short deadlines. Experience handling and managing multiple large projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills by telephone, in person and online, coupled with the ability to build lasting relationships with different audiences.
Team player that enjoys working with a wide variety of senior executives and various levels of management and who can work effectively both independently and with various internal clients and customers.
Creative problem-solving ability with a focus on achieving client-friendly pragmatic solutions while managing company risk.
Collaborating with other lawyers, including outside counsel, who provide contract support
Driving efficiencies and continual improvement of contract review and vendor management processes
