  • Be a part of the lululemon APAC legal team.
  • Be responsible for corporate compliance of lululemon India (including but not limited to regulatory filings for Companies Act compliance, Companies Act disclosure requirement, SEZ registration etc), and adopt good corporate governance practices including risk identification and mitigation.
  • Coordinate lululemon India’s BOD meetings; prepare board meeting documents (e.g. notice, agenda, meeting minutes); facilitate BOD meetings /general meetings (when required); draft and circulate written resolutions to support any ad-hoc business initiatives; and take timely follow-up actions with BOD.
  • Maintain good corporate records of lululemon India; act as custodian of lululemon’s corporate minutes book, statutory registers, company seal etc; and make timely regulatory filings, business license applications and renewal (when necessary).
  • Maintain good relationships of lululemon India’s BOD and lululemon stakeholders.
  • Provide practical legal advices/solutions and support lululemon stakeholders (e.g. Finance, Tax, Tech, P&C etc) in making prudent business decisions and minimizing organizational risks.
  • Review simple legal contracts and deliver localized templates for lululemon India’s business teams.
  • Educate and ensure lululemon’s India’s business team comply with local and global policies.
  • Actively support and collaborate with APAC Legal Team to roll out global initiative for lululemon India (e.g. IDEA).
  • Be an active contributor to APAC Legal internal library.
  • Maintain good relationship with lululemon interal legal counsels and external counsels in India, and keep track & monitor lululemon India’s legal spent.
  • Qualified Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India is a must.
  • Bachelor of laws (LLB) degree or equivalent is an advantage.
  • At least 3-5 years relevant working experience, with prior experience in MNC(Retail) would be an advantage.
