About the Speaker:
Nandini is an LLM graduate from Queen Mary University of London (Distinction, Specialism in Competition Law) and holds a law degree from MATS Law School, MATS University (CG) with a major in Business and Corporate Laws. She is currently working as an Associate with the Competition Law team at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Mumbai. Previous to this, she has worked in the Competition Law team of Trilegal and as a Research Assistant under Prof. Tirthankar Roy (London School of Economics and Political Sciences) and Prof. Anand Swamy (Williams College, USA and previous adviser to World Bank) on academic ventures relating to Law and Economics.
Apart from dealing with a wide range of competition law matters including merger control, enforcement and competition compliance, she has also specialized in Data Protection and Privacy laws while working with London-based organizations like National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) London. She has a number of publications to her name at reputed platforms and journals like Global Antitrust Review (GAR) and represented Queen Mary University of London as the Speaker at the Herbert Smith Freehills Competition Law Moot 2016 held at King’s College London, where the team ended up being the 1st Runner’s-up in the competition.
